Support Partners for Home

Dear Neighbors:

During this pandemic, we’ve all been told to shelter in place.
But what about the most vulnerable among us who have no place to shelter?

As those of you who came to our April 15 IPNA Zoom Meeting heard from Councilmember Amir Farokhi, the City of Atlanta is testing our homeless neighbors for COVID-19 and is housing those who test positive in a downtown hotel that has been converted to isolation housing. Homeless COVID-19 patients are cared for in the isolation hotel, giving them a safe place to recover and helping prevent the further spread of the disease. Another local hotel is being converted into housing for the city’s homeless population to keep our most vulnerable neighbors safe.

Financial contributions are needed to support the staff, to purchase medical supplies, and to provide coordination, operation, and food distribution for the two hotels. You can find more information and make a donation using the link below:

Partners for Home also has a wish list on Amazon. You can purchase needed supplies on Amazon and have them sent directly to those in need using this link:

Make sure to select Partners for Home for the delivery address at check-out.

Thank you!

Our friends at Partners for Home are doing an amazing job supporting our homeless

neighbors in this very challenging time. Please take a moment to help those sheltering in

downtown Atlanta’s donated hotel space.
