Edgewood in 1889. The Trolley Barn (a.k.a. Car Barn) was
the repair depot for one of the nation's first electric street
car systems. Prior to then, exhibition lines had been constructed
in Cleveland, Kansas City, the Boston Mechanics Fair (1884),
Coney Island, Baltimore and Orange, New Jersey (1885)
